Wilhelmus Zwetsloot “Pa” “Dad” “Opa” “Wim”
May 19, 1943 - April 15, 2025
At the age of 81 years old, born in Zoeterwoude, Netherlands, William passed on April 15, 2025.
William lived a fulfilling life, he married Nicole Janssens in 1965, together they had 7 children. William immigrated to Canada with his family in 1982 and settled in Bowmanville, Ontario where they lived until they moved to Peterborough for retirement. William worked as a metal fabricator and was proud of his own business building custom trailers. William enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors, painting and working with his hands.
William leaves behind his wife Nicole, Children- Marcel (Dianna), Bill(Jean), Ron(Karen), Frank(Lisa), Martin(Judy), Edward(Kandi)
Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
William will be reunited with his parents, siblings and his son Dennis.
The family will have a public visitation on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 5:30-8:30pm at Highland Park Funeral Home located at 2510 Bensfort Road. Peterborough, Ontario.
William will be laid to rest at a private funeral on April 23, 2025.
