Suddenly at his residence on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Grace (nee Garrett) for 57 years.  Loving father of Allen Douglas.  Dear brother of Marion McDougall and her husband the late Clarence, the late John Douglas and his wife the late Bev, and the late Jean Elliott and her husband the late Junior.  William will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday from 1:00-4:00.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Highland Park Funeral Centre at 10:00 AM.  Interment Highland Park Cemetery.  Reception to follow.  In memory of William and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
