COLLINS, William Vincent Bill: passed away suddenly in his 65th year at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday November 11, 2021. He lived his life to its fullest. He was a hard worker who always had a project on the go, but this never prevented him from enjoying life, his golf, and card games. Despite his many projects and activities, he always had time for family, friends and neighbours. Husband and best friend of 46 years to Bonnie (nee Ross). Extraordinary and fun-loving father of Jason (Lorena) and Trisha Lamothe (Paul). Best Grandpa ever to Allyson and Joey Collins and Abigail and Madeline Lamothe. Son-in-law to Bob Ross. Dear brother of Adele McNamara (Terry), Bob (Kathy), Paul (Ria), Helen McIvor (Barrie), Rita, Tom (June), Barb Philip (late Paul), Jean, Joan Smit (Rudy), Mike, Pam Sinacori (John), Maureen Beatty (Don), and Steve (Shelley). Predeceased by his parents, Len and Beatrice Collins. Mother-in-law Carol Ross. Siblings Lenore, Len, Roy, Dan, and Cathy. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Randy (Dawn) Ross, and Shiley Moulton, Nancy Collins, Sharon and Gary O'Donnell, Cathy Murphy, Bob Gainey and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road on Tuesday, November 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. There are no capacity limitations for the visitation. Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel on Wednesday, November 17 at 11:30am. Due to limited space, those wishing to attend the funeral service must pre-register on Bill’s tribute page on the Highland website. Proof of double vaccination is also required to attend.
