William (Bill) George Daniels

DANIELS, William George Ernest: (Bill) Peacefully at his home as he wished, with his son Mark and granddaughter Julia on Monday, July 31, 2023, in his 92nd year after battling cancer for over 50 years. Bill, beloved husband of 50+ years to Margaret (Peggy, nee Morris predeceased) and Anne Smith – 20 years (predeceased). Loving father of Richard (Melanie), Mark, Brett (Nancy) and Kevin (Cathy). Cherished Grandfather, Great Grandfather and even for the last year a GREAT, GREAT Grandfather, which he was so proud to share.  He was predeceased by his loving parents Bill and Florence, and sisters Lorraine and Joan. Bill was a Police officer, insurance professional and avid motorcycle rider. He was proud to have ridden into his 91st year, even joining a motorcycle club called the Retreads! He loved to chat and tell jokes. In keeping with his wishes, Bill chose to be cremated and a Celebration of his life will be held at the Omemee Legion at 46 King St E. Omemee, on Sunday, August 13 th from 1-4pm.  Bill will be missed and remembered by many. In his memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be welcomed.
