A true Peterborough boy, born March 24, 1969 and slipped away July 4, 2025, after a brief illness, both at Peterborough hospitals.
Bill had a long career with General Electric, reaching almost 30 years of service with them. He then chose to travel the world, leading a team to repair and maintain some of the motors he worked on in Peterborough in the 90's.
He leaves behind many to mourn him. Family. Friends. Friends who we consider family. Even friends of friends.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years, Kathy (nee Klempp) and his pride and joy, our sons, Brody and Dawson. His 3 doggies are going to miss him feeding them from the table and then yelling at them for begging.
Bill was predeceased by his loving mom, Linda Duff (nee Pound) and many Pound/Sluggett family members.
Please join us for a celebration of Bill and his life, on Saturday July 12 at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd Peterborough, at 10:30am for a casual celebration and open mic.
Since his love reached far and wide, if you have any pictures or stories you'd like to share, please post them to Bill's Facebook page under the name Duff Duffer.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of our animal lover to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society or your favorite local charity.
Much love, Kathy, Brody & Dawson
