Dear Ann & David,
I'm not sure whether my previous message actually went through online...I shall write again! I look at this picture of your Mom, our loved Aunt Barb, and in her face ,I see Grandma& Grandpa Marchen..and my own Mom(Betty)..her sisters, Marion, Eva, Jean, her brothers ,Jack and Sam. They have all passed but, oh, the memories of wonderful family times. Your Mom and Dad were our 'fun Aunt & Uncle'!As young girls, my sisters and I delighted in sitting at your Mom's dressing table..'primping'! How lovely we looked! And, the laughter! I recall a visit that your Mom made to London with Vi,....we piled into the car one night in our nighties, having a craving for some nice cold A&W root beer & burgers. On your Mom's last visit to see my Mom..in 2006, we had a wonderful time. Mom so loved her young sister.
We will always cherish the memories!
With Love......from your cousin,
Pat (waters) Henry

Dear Anne & David,
I am so sorry to hear of our Aunt Barb's passing. She was so loved by all of us. We have such wonderful memories of she and your Dad. They were truly our 'fun Aunt & Uncle'! Before her marriage to Uncle Gord, we girls, her nieces, delighted in sitting at her dressing table in her' oh-so feminine' bedroom, trying on her jewellery and experimenting with her make-up. How lovely we were! Anne, on your last visit to see our Mom, Betty, in London we all treated ourselves to lunch at the Mandarin, and Mom was so delighted to see her sister. One year later, in 2007, she passed. I cannot believe where the years have gone. Aunt Barb will live on in our hearts and our special memories, always!
With love,
Pat(Waters) Henry

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. Although we did not know your Mum, we know how great a person she was as evidenced by how well she raised her son Dave, Nedra and Dave had many a conversation about their aging mothers and what was best for them. These conversations and the great man/ friend that Dave became shows how well a job she did,
Memories never fade, she is still in your heart and mind.
Our deepest sympathies
Norm & Nedra

Our sincere condolences to Anne and David on the passing of their mother and our 'young' aunt Barbara. Just a few days ago we were reminiscing about the good times we spent out dancing with Barb and Gord on a visit toTrenton in the late fifties. Also we fondly remember visiting them as ' neighbors just down the street on Kawartha Heights Blvd '. And of course the Marchen home at 282 Hunter S is recalled as a happy and welcoming home for the Waters family and our mother, Barb's sister Betty.
