I was shocked and saddened to read of Dennis's death He shared a table with my friend at 881 Dutton Rd., ---his gentleness and kindness were very evident.
My condolences to all of you who have been fortunate to have a wonderful father grandfather etc.

Goodbye Denis ("Dick") we will miss your friendship and wonderful sense of humour, quiet, perceptive and Oh So British! We fondly remember your wonderful tales of your adventures abroad especially your enjoying the experience of being mistaken for a famous member of a British rock band touring the USA, and your wartime antics serving in Dad's Army, the Home Guard.
