So sorry to learn of Irene's passing. She was often in my thoughts & prayers although I hadn't seen her in 2 years. We shared many memories during our 20+ years at Canada Post in Picton. My condolences to all her family.

Irene and Bob welcomed us as their next door neighbors with open arms, we had many laughs and always enjoyed showing each other what we were planting in our gardens. I'm sorry I didn't take the time to visit her after she moved but I know she understood life gets busy. My condolences Heather and Ian your Mom was one in a million

I am so sorry to hear of Irene's passing. I will always remember being in the backyard and seeing your mom always working at the garden and her greeting me with a big smile and a hello! Your parents were a huge part of my childhood(and you two as well) Both of you and your extended family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. Take good care of one another and keep those memories of your mom close to you and share them with Lauren and Brooke. Love, Cheryl

Irene and Bob were the best neighbours anyone could ask for, always ready for a visit when we were all working in our gardens, I really missed your mom and our cups of tea when she moved to Peterborough but I know she wanted to be close to family. Be strong and know she is with your Dad now and they are both checking out the gardens in Heaven...hugs Fred & Kathy
