Andrew and family; Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mom, mother-in -law and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by John and I, and. I am sure. all the cottagers especially those on F.R. 26 who knew her. Unfortunately we are unable to be at the funeral as we have a prior commitment. We plan to be at the cottage Sunday and Monday, so will check to see if we can catch you. We know you will be busy, so we understand if you are not there. You are in our prayers.

I met June through The Church Library Association of Ontario and admired her drive and ideas. She was often an overnight guest in our home in Guelph and we became good friends. Her ideas were new and invigorating to a group that was changing it's outlook over time from a local viewpoint to a wider vision for the 21st.Century. Brenda Kelly

I first met June when she was editor of Library Lines, the newsletter of the Church Library Association of Ontario. June and I shared a common passion for libraries and reading. We both had our Masters in Library Science and shared many anecdotes about life in librarianship. June's ideas generated much discussion at our executive meetings. My prayers and thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

I am sorry to hear of June's death. She had so many passions and I am so glad she volunteered her time to the Church Library Association of Ontario. Her ideas moved us into new directions and she taught me a lot. I still have her frugal cookbook and love to think of her as a young wife in Peterborough, sourcing the ingredients to produce gourmet meals. My condolences to the family.
