MOLONEY, Lenore Elizabeth (nee Collins) May 13, 1939 – May 13, 2017 Passed peacefully at PRHC surrounded by her family. An elementary teacher for 35 years with the Peterborough Catholic School Board. Beloved wife of Joe E. Moloney for 57 years and loving mother of Lynne Coletti (Sam) of Ottawa, Janet, Pat (Annette) of London, Nancy of Ottawa and Michelle (Robert Ingraham) of Alabama. Devoted gramma and GG of Paige Sawyer (Chris), Regan Beckett, Ethan, Madi, Tess, Guin Carter, Rowan Sawyer and his little sister Pippa Lenore. Dear sister of Adele McNamara (Terry), Bob (Kathy), Paul (Ria), Helen McIvor (Barrie), Rita, Tom (June), Barb Philp (late Paul), Jean, Joan Smit (Rudy), Mike (Sherry), Bill (Bonnie), Pam Sinacori (John), Maureen Beatty (Don) and Steve (Shelley). Predeceased by her parents, Len and Beatrice (Huard) Collins, brothers Lennie, Roy and Dan, sister Cathy, niece Laura Gainey and nephew Joe McIvor. Lenore will be sadly missed by Shirley Moulton, Nancy Collins, Sharon and Gary O`Donnell, Cathy Murphy, Bob Gainey, Rita Twohey, Linda Maloney and by her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with Parish Prayers at 7:00 P.M. (open to public). Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 386 Rogers Street, on Wednesday, May 17th at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Luncheon to follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Hall. In memory of Lenore and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
