VIZZA: Rosina (Venneri): Rosina passed peacefully surrounded with family at PRHC on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in her 82nd year, of Peterborough. Rosina, beloved wife of 60 years to Nardo Vizza. Loving mother of Elena Vizza of Peterborough, John (Cathy) Vizza of Barrie, Linda Vizza of Toronto, Ginetta (Kirk) McClure of Keene, Anna Taormina of Ajax. Cherished Nonna of Jeff (Angel), Sarah (Jeff), Mike (Sarah), Wesley, Tina Rosina (Brad), Antonio (Irene), and Matthew and Proud Great Nonna of first Great-Granddaughter Sophia Grace. Predeceased by her parents Francesco and Maria Venneri. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Pietro Venneri, Lina Mauro, Ada Colacci, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the many caregivers that tended to Rosina (Rosie) so kindly and for all the staff at PRHC (especially Courtney), for their compassion and care during her final days. A Celebration of Rosina’s Life will be held at ST. ALPHONSUS CHURCH on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will take place in HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Road, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Entombment Rosemount Memorial Gardens followed by a reception in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
