Dennis "Wayne" Johnson

Johnson, Dennis “Wayne” – Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Jean Johnson (nee Corkery). Loving father of Deana and Jason (Wendy). Grandfather of Avery and Connor. Wayne will be dearly missed by his parents, Glanis Johnson (nee Woodbeck) and the late Harry Johnson. Dear brother of the late Nancy Endicott. Also remembered by his sister-in-law Janice Stevenson (Ken). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Wayne worked for over 30 years in Corrections Services spending the majority of his career in Millbrook and later on at Lindsay Corrections. Friends will be received on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough) from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Highland Park Chapel. Interment to follow at Highland Park Cemetery. In memory of Wayne, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Society.
