In his 82nd year, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on July 20, 2016 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre surrounded by family. Survived by Veronica Evans, his beloved wife of 41 years. Loving father to Tim Evans (Darlene), Chris Evans (Cindy), Clark Barrow (Trixie), Brian Barrow (Vicki), Michael Barrow (Selina) and Mary Russelle. Much loved Grandad to Andrew, Marissa, Lisa, Becky, Richard, Chris, Jacqueline, Bobby, Natasha, Ethan and Kayla.  Adoring Great Grandad to Luke, Mackenzie, Madison, Logan, Hannah, Logan, Cole, Ewan, Nova, Riley, Sawyer and Sophia Remembered by loving family in England. Well respected by his many colleagues throughout his career as a police Detective Constable in Reading, England; Supervisor with Ontario Correctional Services: and Claims Adjudicator with the Alberta WSIB.Admired by countless friends, he will be missed for his companionship, sense of humor and honesty.  Will not be remembered for his cribbage playing skills. Arthur was a true gentlemen who will be sadly missed. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 31, 1 to 3 PM at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke or Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
