We are heartbroken to share the passing of our irreplaceable husband, father and grandfather. Doug passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 in his 68th year. Beloved husband and soulmate to Bev (nee Hickey). Loving father of Sean (Aaron) and Melanie Corcoran (Dwight). Cherished, devoted grandfather and number one fan of Claire, Will and Sam. Dear brother of Johnny (Lenore), Marlene McWilliams, Lorna Arnold (Ed), Phyllis Monks (Paul), Raymond (Cindy), Greg (Jackie), and Vera Milne (Colin).  Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Thelma Twomey. Doug will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Jean Armstrong and his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST.
